Apple Watch
Just Italian offers an Apple Watch companion app that allows you to review your cards on the go. You do not even need to look at the watch - we recommend you to use headphones to hear the audio of the cards, and to speak the translation out loud, if ever possible. This is a great way to practice your pronunciation and listening skills.
When learning, the watch will play you the audio of the front side of the card. As always, try to think of a translation. To hear (and view) the back side of the card, just tap the watch screen once. The card will turn, and you can hear the translation.

To grade the card, swipe it into one of the directions as described in the Grading section. The directions are the same as on the iPhone app. Here is a short overview of the directions:
- too easy - right
- easy - right-down
- fair - down
- hard - left-down
- too hard - left
- - left-up
- skip - right-up
Note that the watch app is not a standalone app, but a companion app. This means that you need to have the Just Italian app installed on your iPhone, and occasionally, the watch app will ask you to open the iPhone app to load and synchronize data.
Prerequisites
To use the Apple Watch app, you need to have the Just Italian app installed on your iPhone (it won't work with an Android phone, and we do not yet have an app for Android Wear). If the watch app is not automatically installed, you can install it manually via the Watch app on your iPhone.
For further information on the prerequisites, please see the prerequisites page.
