Word Modal

The Word Modal will be shown if you press the (i) button on a word card.

It offers the following information:

  1. Word: The word this modal is about.
  2. Add Button: This button offers various possibilities, see below.
  3. Close Button: This button dismisses the modal.
  4. Thesaurus: Here, you can see the definitions of this word (Thesaurus).
  5. Translations: The English translations of the word, together with their frequencies.

The full Word Modal is available for Italian words. The Word Modal for English words has limited contents.

Add Button​

The Add Button for words is available at various points in Just Italian. It offers the following options when you tap it:

  • Add this word as a card to your learning queue. This will load the word card with the current word on its front.
  • If the word is a verb, you can open the conjugation table of the word.

If the Add Button appears in other areas of the app, it might also offer the option "Word Details", which will show you the Word Modal (see above).
